These terms apply to the services offered at Clarklands Naturist Spa and are freely available to view, and print from this page.
You indicate acceptance of these terms and conditions of service by using the any of the facilities provided by Clarklands Naturist Spa. These terms of service will not be varied for individual customers .
1.1 For the purpose of these terms and conditions the following expressions shall bear the meanings assigned to the below:
a. “Facilties” means and covers all areas in the spa area including ‘The Hot-Tub, Sauna and Showers’;
b. “Services” means Massages and other therapies offered.
c. “Spa” means the premises at Clarklands House, Parsonage Lane, Sawbridgeworth.
d. “Clarklands” means and includes all companies trading under the name Clarklands Spa and Clarklands Naturist Spa.
e. “Visitor” means a third party who enters our establishment with the intent using our facilities or other services provided;
f. “Member” the person whose name is on the Membership Form who hereby agrees to become a member of The Spa on the terms and conditions hereunder.
g. Words denoting the singular shall include the plural and vice versa and words denoting any gender shall include all genders.
h. The headings of the paragraphs of this Agreement are inserted for convenience of reference only and are not intended to be part of or to affect the meaning or interpretation of this Agreement.
2. Security & Safety
2.1 Clarklands Spa shall provide secure lockers for the storage of personal belongings for visitors attending their premises and therefore accept no responsibility for any items lost stolen or damaged which left unattended in the public area.
2.2 Visitors using the Spa do so entirely at their own risk and Clarklands strongly advise that anyone with a underlying illness or other health problems seek medical approval before using any of the Spa’s facilities. The Spa cannot accept liability for any illness or injury which results from the use of The Spa’s facilities by Members.
2.3 Clarklands prohibits anyone from using the Hot-Tub after a massage as the oil used in this therapy contaminate the water and blocks the filter. Clarklands will impose a penalty fine of £15 for any person contravening this rule, without exception.
2.4 Clarklands will insist, in the interest of hygiene that all persons wishing to use the hot-tub (with the exception laid out in paragraph 3 ) shower beforehand.
2.5 The Spa is a non smoking environment.
2.6 All Members are required to abide and adhere to The Spa Rules and Regulations. Such rules and regulations are displayed within The Spa and a copy of such rules and regulations is available to all Members upon request to a member of The Spa staff.
3. Acceptance As A Member
3.1 The Proprietor has absolute discretion as to whether to accept any application for Membership. If an application for Membership is accepted by the Proprietor, Membership shall commence on the Commencement Date.
3.2 The Proprietor/Spa Manager may terminate the membership of any Member either verbally or in writing, with immediate effect in the event of a Member committing a serious or repeated breach of these terms and conditions or the spa rules and regulations.
4.1 Membership of The Spa is personal to member. The Member shall not loan his membership card to any other person or permit it to be used by anyone other than the Member.
4.2 Advanced bookings are required for massage treatments, to cancel a booking at least 48 hours notice is required. If you cancel any appointment with less than 48 hours notice or fail to attend an appointment a cancellation fee will incur for the full cost of the services booked.
